Project 7 Trio
This Friday at Jazzinsights jazz club, we welcome Project 7 Trio—a project that brings together three established musicians with diverse backgrounds and a shared vision for a contemporary jazz sound.
Pavel Tsonev (Piano) – Jazz pianist, composer, and vocal teacher (pop & jazz) at "Hristina Morfova" National School of Music and Performing Arts (Stara Zagora). Known on the club scene for his clean harmonic lines and original arrangements, Pavel seamlessly bridges classic jazz with modern improvisation.
Stanislav Georgiev (Bass Guitar) – A versatile bassist with a broad genre spectrum, holding a degree from the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts "Prof. Asen Diamandiev". He brings a solid, rich rhythmic foundation and the flexibility that allows the trio to transition effortlessly between swing, funk, and Latin grooves.
Nikola Enev (Drums) – A musician with a keen ear for acoustic dynamics and subtle details. He drives the trio’s rhythm, maintaining a balanced interplay between energetic solos and nuanced accompaniment.

Barbara developed her artistic identity within the jazz scene of Puglia, Italy, studying voice and piano at the jazz music school Il Pentagramma in Bari under the guidance of Guido Di Leone, Mirko Signorile and Lisa Manosperti.
She continued her training through high-level masterclasses, taking part in Tuscia in Jazz, the Guildhall School in London and IJW Bari, working with internationally renowned jazz musicians such as Renato Chicco, Andy Watson, Dario Deidda and Joe Magnarelli.
With her quintet, she has performed at notable jazz festivals including Orsara in Jazz, Bari in Jazz, Altamura in Jazz and Umbria Jazz, establishing her own musical voice and a strong stage presence.
She has also appeared in some of the most prestigious theatres of Bari, including Teatro Petruzzelli, Teatro Piccinni, Teatro Forma and Teatro Traetta.
She took part in the recording project A viva voce, created with her quintet and produced by Matia Bazar, an initiative dedicated to supporting and showcasing young talent.
Barbara’s artistic activity also extends abroad: for four years she was the vocalist of the Imperial College Jazz Big Band in London, performing in some of the city’s most prestigious jazz venues, including the renowned Pizza Express Jazz Clubs.
